My S90s work pretty well for $25. No complaints yet.

I've bought about 12 of their pickups, all have been really good. I particularly like their mini-humbucker Songbirds.

I do think they're mostly Artec made, some are stock and some are special runs.

I believe that Guitar Madness gets his pickups from Artec (because the only other pickups he sells are some Artec branded ones), but they are built for him to his specs. And, he has exceptional quality control and exceptional overall sound quality for the prices of his pickups, as well as exemplary service. I've raved here many times about his 62z, his vintage spec alnico 5 Strat pickups, which are $25 a set, and sound as good IMO as any Strat pickup I've used at any price from any maker. They positively exude vintage Strat tone and feel as well as any Strat pickup I've ever used, and they make it very difficult to spend more just to get a name brand.

So what? Who cares who makes them? Guitar Madness sells a variety of pickups for every taste and is a reliable and honest seller. I have several different GM pickups in different guitars and have never been dissatisfied.

If folks want to spend $200+ on cork sniffing pickups go ahead.

I’ll take a set of GM alnico 2 humbuckers with nickle silver baseplates for under fifty bucks, Alex.
