That's only for the brown one... the other colors are still $399... purchasing musta bought too many brown amps.

When they hit $150 I will buy one...

D2P it's a no-brainer at $200. I grabbed one a week ago at a local GC for $200 (picked the best of three they had) and LOVE it. Despite only having a bright/dark tone slider you have three inputs, all with different voices/tones. I like the accordion input, which had more midrange honk. Very nice low volume cleans, and it's nasty dirty OD at high volumes. The tremolo is very nice as well, and background noise is basically non-existent in mine. Just looks cool too :D

Cool TP, have you tried the guitar input and mic input at the same time? For playing and singing at same time.

Add a $90 Legend 1518 and you've got the $400 Pro model, minus the Chinese Pastel colors.

And a $25 Dano Fish 'n Chips will take care of the EQ.

No, but they all can be used simultaneously. However playing and singing would only be viable at lower clean volumes without the tremolo on. You don't normally want to sing into an overdriven amp with tremolo :D

In reality, all inputs are for guitar or blues harp IMO, just with different voices and attenuation. I don't know if the mic imput is really like the balanced mic input in an acoustic amp, or not. But playing in a small area, it may suffice.

I'm trying to come up with a possible reason to buy another amp. This is a great price.
    Thanks

Where are the brown ones $199? All show $399 when selected.

Enter your zip to see if any are available locally. In the store they were still marked $299 but when I mentioned the sale he cut the price down to $199. All three at my GC had a few minor scuffs (some more than the others), so I'd pick one at the store if you can, and plug it in to check operation of all switches, pots, inputs, and for rattles etc. No box or instructions with the three I saw, if that matters to you. Mine only has one tiny scuff on the right and a very small cut on the bottom left back corner. Relicing!

I just played one an hour ago. Don't need an amp but at that price it was very tempting. Great tones - deep bass with the 15" speaker. GREAT swampy tremolo. The dark switch sounded particularly good with the tele I played through it.

I have one stock I use for small gigs and home play..Really love that gal..I think what turns alot of people off (its lack of refined tone) is what I love about her..Lo-Fi..Just a ton of fun

For me it'd have to be 99.99. Then I'd gut it and build a 5e5 in there.

So now Getbent trots in, sniffs the ground, circles a bit, aligns north/south, and pinches one on the Excelsior -- right next to Fezz's still-steaming pile :D

I know you guys are having fun, but have either of you played one of these?

    Yes, otherwise I wouldn't comment. :D

To be honest, this amp along with the Ramparte and Vaporub, are novelty amps. Cheap components, limited features. No tone knob? Just a switch? Really.

I was at a jam and a guy had one of these. My 5e3 destroyed it. We switched amps. With me playing it, my 5e3 destroyed it.

    So...from where I sit, it's a toy. YMMV.

    Got me!

I just came from GC in SF and the pro/pastel models were also $199.00. It must not be at every location.
