Be prepared for the greatest movie, ever!

My DVD copy of "LMOE" also has "HOHH" included.

Ooh- Vincent Price! What about "Pit and the Pendulum"? Another "great" movie!

    Cannibal: The Musical

College film project of Matt Stone and Trey Parker. If you like south park you'll love it. Definitely got some B tier special effects for arms getting ripped off and such.

Joe Bob did this one tracking the gang on a NY subway map.

As for Price, I prefer Dr. Phibes.

The original Invasion of the Body Snatchers still holds up as a great movie.
    Always liked this one too.

But my guiltiest of guilty pleasures has to be this one. So bad it’s good; This Island Earth.

    Coincidence or ?

My dad and friends had a couple poker nights at our house in the early 60s. Because they all worked at the Hanford site, they were screened, cleared, and monitored on a continual basis. All Hanford get-togethers, poker nights, and fishing and hunting trips, etc., were done in the most chill manner. Low-key.

This particular night had my dad's friends in the dining room, sealed off from the living room. One guy brought a can of cashews. I must have hit the cashews pretty hard, because the next thing I know, Iying on my on back hurling cashews and Fritos, some of which I would inhale through the nose. I can still remember that very singular smell and texture.

After bursting into the living room, it took at least an hour for the smell to leave. During that time, my mom got me a 7-up and turned on the tv. WTF! I see a video of an artistically rendered pile of metal, slowlying revolving as Telstar accompanied it. First time I heard it.

Friday Night at the Movies presents: The Day the Earth Stood Still. I can't express how optimistic and noble I felt. This was a feeling that has influenced my music ever since.

I've been thinking about all the works of art and entertainment that were generated or directed by a flip of a coin. Imagine how many coincidences could have altered the outcome of what I experienced that desert night.

I was reading about House on Haunted Hill it on Wikipedia and it said that theaters had skeletons coming up out of coffins and flying above the seats. They stopped it because mischievous kids would shoot at it with slingshots.

I was surprised to read this. I thought it was a drive-in flick.

    House on Haunted Hill
was very popular in the community I grew up in. The Drive-in movie theatre must have been packed!

When B movie was no longer B movie, but just a purposely cheap and bad movie. I was born in the 70s, so of course stuff from that era are my....uh... jam(?), or whatever the film equivalent to that is. This is seriously one of my all time fav movies.

Anything that was on the original two MST3K shows is good for me. I love those horrendous movies. But the one that takes the cake for me is Manos Hands of Fate...its so bad. It was originally shot with a camera that could only capture thirty seconds of silent color film at a time...You have to see it to believe just how bad it is.

Yes! Puppet master! That was a rental favorite as a kid

    Gingerdead man is pretty okay

The lobster one you mentioned is pretty good too, where the monsters are lobsters that are like the aliens version of cows
