    These Guild dreads seem to be mostly known as heavily-built flatpicking cannons. They can certainly do that but I wanted to highlight how capable they can be for subtle fingerstyle stuff as well.

    Most guitars are more versitile than they get credit for. Guilds have their own voice, but it's not a voice reserved for bluegrass versus Delta vesus Doc Watson versus rock versus ragtime versus "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?"

    If you like their sound, they're good for whatever you want to play.

    I have a pretty amazing LoPrinzi Flamenco guitar made out of the traditional cypress. It also has friction pegs. Just a weird reflection on the pic with the friction pages not a crack.
