I started to call it “Groke” to it’s face shortly after trying it out.

  • Gork - A lazy male voice, characterized by a more relaxed and casual delivery.
Grok 4’s voice mode supports multiple personality modes, each tailoring the AI’s conversational style to suit different user preferences. The following personalities have been noted:
  • Default - A charismatic and thoughtful persona, providing balanced and friendly responses.
  • Unhinged (18+) - An unpredictable and bold persona that may use vulgar language, curse, or engage in intense, sometimes aggressive interactions. This mode is designed for users seeking unfiltered and provocative exchanges.

From my experience with Grok I've been calling it GIGO.

Garbage in, garbage out. Almost every answer I see it provide has errors in it.

My mom's basement.
I wish cars were just cars.
Cars not being cars is lost on me. You can buy new, antique plus models in between all still cars. Now after span of many decades to about 100 years we again have choices for fans of Austrian mustache guy with a new twist in how bad information can enter the passenger compartment. I'm also aware there are Tesla owners like some friends currently no longer wanting or liking them but stuck in a horribly changed market for them.

Officially my having to respond to and research things flagged from AI platforms, search and links for accuracy, legal reasons, hate and bias ended between last week and May, I retire today, but I'm sure the problems will continue. If I decide to work part-time or do more consulting, that verify analysis stuff might be it.

I'll stick with limited use of our antique car, modern features we have in others, and look forward to how our reservation for a Rivian R2 will end and I'll keep eyes on the upcoming Toyotarus.

I would be driving passengers insane with than feature...

I swear Siri answers me with a sarcastic tone at times. When it's speaking and I've heard what I need and say 'Thank you' to cut it off, it'll say 'you're welcome' normally. But if I sarcastically say "Thank...you...." it frequently responds with a "don't mention it" in a tone that sounds like the word *hole was left off. At first I thought I was imagining it.

A few years ago a YT channel I subscribed to was reviewing "Dolemite" and the discussion lead to one of them joking, "If Siri was voiced like Dolemite, I'd get an iPhone just for the driving directions."
Apparently that's a lot closer than they thought. 🤣

Didn't Grok go off the deep end recently when X allowed it access to social media?

I would be upset if I owned a Telsa and someone kept adding more BS I did not want to it. But then again, I have not been a fan of Musk for over 10 years, so I would not buy one of his spying cages cars anyhow. I always try to disable / hide the AI BS on my PCs too. Didn't ask for it, didn't want it, and Microsoft keeps re-enabling it whether you want it or not.

I guess I was just referring to the fact that selling points in modern cars seem to have more to do with tech gadgetry than actual driving qualities. No doubt there is plenty of tech in cars today that make driving safer, but all people seem to care about is whether they'll be able to stream the new Beyonce song and check their Twitter (oh right, x) account. I'm not anti-tech, though I am anti-frivolous tech that distracts driver's attention away from the road.

That's kind of sick.

Here we see some differences between drivers and motor vehicle operators.
