I only have one Gretsch and one off-Gretsch (kinda like “off-white”).

There’s a few I’d like (especially a 6130 Roundup with the “belt buckle” bridge) but if I don’t ever get one, life will still be pretty sweet.

Here is my White Penguin, new a couple months ago. I canceled an order last year after waiting months with them on backorder. They finally came back in stock and I went for it. It was brand spanking new, since it has a Dec. '23 serial, and arrived in tune out of the box. It gets to join one other guitar in the "lifer" category. Thanks, Terada!

NGGD. 2024 Vintage select Anniversary with TV Jones Hilotrons. Just got it in. Changed strings and set it up. Plays great and the pickups are exactly what I wanted. Low output single coils. Fit and finish is impeccable. I’ve wanted one of these since I was a kid looking at a late 60’s Gretsch catalog.

2018 (I think) Players Edition Duo Sonic FT. Has a few mods. Chet arm on the Bigsby, TV Jones Classics, Compton bridge, and I replaced the tuner buttons (but not the tuners) with smaller oval buttons for a more vintage look. Love this guitar. Feels incredible.

Counting down the days until I collect my first ever Gretsch (bought on eBay, but 200 miles away so been waiting 'til a family trip comes around to collect it at the same time) later this month. A G2622T Streamliner in Torino Green. It wouldn't have been my first choice of colour if I was buying new, in fact it would be my last choice, however much like dings and bumps on Teles, I don't care what colour my Gretsch is going to be, it's a Gretsch and it's mine.

I just put a US made Bigsby B3 on my G5237 Double Jet.

The guitar already felt like an extension of my body.

Now it feels like an extension of my soul...

Got the same color through the Slickdeals/Adorama deal. Crazy good guitar as is. All I'm gonna do is remove the nylon bushings on the Bigsby for some of the bearings I already bought.

I rarely play my Gretsches, and occasionally I get the idea that they're just taking up space. So I crack 'em out and play them for a few weeks. The 6120 is always a no-brainer, despite the slightly bulky form factor.

I never put a Compton, etc on this, as the rocking bar sounds just fine to me. But I did swap out the TV Jones filtertrons for his large-footprint Dynasonics, er... T-Armonds.

I'm playing it through my 5E5A Tweed Pro build that I built circa 2015, and then never really played much. I much prefer the BF/SF sound, but playing this through my Revibe build, with it's spangy reverb and wobbly harmonic vibrato.... it sounds just right.

This is me also. I'm a tele guy... I have discovered I'm not a strat guy, or a PRS guy. Altho I do love my EBMM Luke III, which is a hybrid of both LOL.

But the 6120 is something that always puts a smile on my face, even tho I don't play it that often. Maybe I would play it more if it were my only other electric besides my #1 (tele)... I currently have 3 teles.
