Ran across this in the InterGoogle, and well... It's like Greg Koch had a child out of wedlock, or was cloned, or something. I mean, obviously Jeff is much younger, but - there's two of them? Did anyone else know there was two of them?

P.S. I am joking about the "two of them" thing, but these are two really well matched performers and I am now officially a Jeff Kollman fan.

Hey are you sure that isn’t Garth from Wayne’s World? Geez, Wayne didn’t even let him use Excalibur (‘64 Strat) just kidding, much respect!

Wow! Two great players for sure. I could listen to the them play all day. Thanks for sharing.

The amount of skill they bring is really something. I know this style of jam band playing might not appeal to everyone, but I love it.

Rabbit Hole! The same YouTube contributor has a video of Koch and Josh Smith playing Folsom Prison Blues. I just spent the last hour and a half jamming with that and trying (in vain) to figure out Greg's licks.

    Thanks for posting!

No doubt! I saw some of the same videos. Greg definitely instills equal parts inspiration and despair with his playing. The thing about Kollman that surprised me was how easily he matched Koch's "style", which IMO is pretty freaking hard to pin down. They're both jazz-trained players, no doubt about that looking some of the intervals they were playing.

For those classical rock and rollers, here's one from the same gig.
