    Watching it now.

If that music thing don't work out he could always make a living doing stand-up.

Glad you liked it. I didn’t quite make it to the jam. Stupid work.

Still, something to look forward to on the train home.

I might be able to make it all the way through this one.
It's always fun to see Greg do his thing.

I’ve watched it yesterday: it was so much enjoyable. The second tune Greg and his band play during the outro jam is brilliant.

    Hi.

I bought a set of Mick spec. Curt Mangan strings. Had a friend coming over from the UK and got him to bring them. They’re really good.

Anyway, you just reminded me I bought some That Pedal Show stickers are the same time. I better dig them out and use them.

That Koch guy is a bit of a joker. Huge fella with a personality of similar proportions!

I'm back for a second sitting, had to take a break after half hour. It was enjoyable hearing Greg up until then. The guys laughing at everything is over the top and hard to watch. Greg's funny but not wet your pants, crying funny the whole time.

Great jam at the end. Especially the first song they played.

    Hi again

On the train home and finally able to watch the jam. When Dan comes on, with his regular sized guitar and regular sized body, he looks like he’s been scaled down and photoshopped in. :)

I really enjoyed that. Watched every second. Greg is hilarious.

I used to watch that show religiously every week, but when they went to the long format my attention span gets lost after about 20-30 minutes unless the topic is of high interest to me. Greg had me captivated the whole time, I could just listen to him talk for hours. Funny and insightful.

And a couple shout outs for the Badger state!

Is there actually badgers in Wisconsin?
And Are there a bunch of dachshunds running around hunting them?;)

Dachshunds are burrowing badger hunting machines

What’s happening in the pedal show video is you have two guys who aren’t comics/comedians (but who can appreciate humor) so when someone who is actually funny like Koch* does a bit/says something funny - they just laugh.

Their brains have nothing to add.**

If Dan and Mick were comics/comedians , they’d laugh too but not as much because their brains would also be occupied with extending or surpassing the bit. See Garlin above.

That’s why most comics don’t laugh as much as civilians do while watching someone else do stand up.

They appreciate/dissect it on a different level.

Dan and Mick are great musicians but just civilians/average audience members to comedy.

    Fallon’s ridiculous giggly-ness ? He’s improv. Not stand-up. Improv people are a mystery to me...

*Humor is subjective so how “funny” Koch is perceived to be will vary...

**And if civilians do think of something to add or say after someone funny says something, it’s generally late and/or unfunny.
