It is a 79 LP Standard, solid mahogany body with maple cap and maple neck. I've had it about 20 years and before my ownership belonged to a friend of my uncle's who played regularly in the Bucks County/Philly area with it. It's got quite a few stories to tell about big belt buckles, cigarettes and spilled beer. It's wonderful guitar that smells much better now than when I got it!

I have to amend my previous post, almost 5 out of 6 have natural finishes The Gretsch has a transparent walnut ish finish and the D-15 is a clear satin over mahogany.
