Welcome to TDPRI. I really like Esquires but I've never used that particular model. Fender Custom Shop builds gets pretty high marks from just about everyone. If you're working with an honest seller I think you'll be happy with the purchase.

Welcome! I used to own one of those, and it was a fantastic guitar. I sold it because I prefer rosewood fretboards to maple, and in the end I prefer guitars with two pickups for more versatility. But it was a great guitar!

This is a seller with 90+ Reverb reviews and 5*****! So I pulled the trigger, new pics next week!

Regarding the two pickups, the good thing is it comes with an additional neck pickup, a Hepcat handwound (never heard about it before) and it is stock routed for it

The bridge pickup is advertised as hand-wound also, so I'm wondering if it comes with Abigail Ybarra initials since the guitar is from 2005... We'll see next week
