Hello Tele-friends
Just chiming in to greet everybody on this great forum. My name is Morten, I’ll pretty soon turn 40 y.o., and I’m from Norway. I’ve played the guitar for 30 years this year. In my 20’s I played the guitar for a living for four years. Today I work as a music teacher, and I play in a couple of bands as a (great) hobby: One cover band, and one instrumental act. I’ve played on several albums here in Norway throughout the years, but I never became a rock star
But That’s completely allright. I’m married, father to two daughters, 5 and 11 years old. Genre-wise I’m heavily into country music, roots, folk, surf, rockabilly, instrumental music, and rock. The Telecaster is my all-time favourite guitar. I currently have a beautiful Baja, alongside an American Original Jaguar, and a Dano 12-string. Amps: Supro Statesman, and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with a Creamback. Really into pedals as well. I’ll attach a couple of pictures of my gear. My happy place is a Tele, my Origin compressor and a good tube amp. Really into country picking, and surf sounds with my Jag.
My instrumental band, «The Desert Star Revival» will release our debut album this summer, on all digital plattforms. We are currently mixing this record. Having lots of fun!
Anyway, happy to be a part of this great community. Thanks for having me.
