    Hello All
A week ago I bought a new Fender Player Telecaster to go with my two strats and my P-Bass. I'm looking forward to exploring what this new guitar can bring to the party and am already very impressed. My hobby is producing covers of popular tunes where I play guitar, bass and piano. Having the tele means that I'll be doing more country and Irish traditional (otherwise known as diddley).

BTW. My user name is the breed of my cat.

Morning! Do a search for London Jam 2019. Bring a Tele and come and meet a few of us. It's good fun.

    There's a cat breed called a Pixie-Bob?

Well, why not. Most of the cats I had were of the genus Murderous Feral Psycho. Lovely animals.

    Welcome.

The breed is, as you might imagine - American, from Washington state. Much to my relief, she is an utterly useless predator.

Welcome. I have a Fender Player Telecaster as well. It is a very good guitar. I did some mods and
now it is a great guitar. Locking tuners (Fender) and Generation 4 noiseless pickups. It can
play anything 50s, 60's 70's. Heavy metal, will be a problem.

Thank you Jimmy Jazzman. I have the Gen 4s in my MIA Strat so I'm going to go for the Vintage Noiseless in the Tele, just to have some variety. Although I don't do metal at all, I expect the Tele to do well at 1970s British punk etc, as I reckon it is closer in tone to my LP than to my Strat.

    Wow - what a haul !

The colour of your 2003 Strat is superb (I am sure it plays as good too) !

    Thank you!
Yes, that white strat is very special to me - it's on (along with the bass) my "will never sell" list.
