    Hello everyone.

    A new TDPRI-user here.
Been playing guitar since early 90s and I like to find new sounds from old gear and old sounds from new gear.

I have couple of Teles (Fender and Squier), couple of Esquires (DIY and Squier), couple of Strats (Custom handbuilt stuff) and half a dozen Les Pauls (mainly Gibson but one custom handbuilt too). Some 80s style Super Strats (two Charvels, one Aria Pro II) too. I use dry/wet rig with Fender and Marshall amps. I also have a mid-60s Vox AC4 but currently looking for a 60s AC15. Somewhere between 80 to 100 different pedals ranging from DIY Fuzzes to Strymon's / UAFX's digital stuff. I keep buying new and old stuff every now and then. Rarely sell anything anymore.

I like classic & desert/stoner/fuzz rock, everything music and guitars, classic VW Beetles, Vans shoes, ice-cream, vinyl records, photography, genealogy, history, Italian and Mexican cuisine, video games and I'm a true crime buff.

    There you go!
Thanks for letting me part of TDPRI.

    Nice! Welcome.

I am a fuzz fanatic. I don’t even use it much live but I love fuzz and avidly collect fuzz and Rat circuit pedals. I have 30+ Fuzz that I won’t sell and it is a problem.
    Any recommendations?

My current favorites are from Barbarian Fuzz Raiders (formerly Gremlin), Nighthawk Amplifiers, and Reuss.

Hit me up. What do I need on my board?

Welcome from another newbie here. You want to try new sounds? Try wiring a 2 pickup guitar out of phase. And switch back with a pull pot. That way you don't have to drill a hole for a switch, and just pull the knob up.
You will find lots of great people here. How does it feel playing in sub zero temperatures? Can you hear the aurora through your pickups at high gain? Yeah, you can ask or share ANYTHING here. You will like it. Welcome from us all! Skol !

Welcome from Texas. You should know, though......pictures are mandatory. Guitars, amps, pedals, dogs, food, etc......we're a very visually-oriented site! ;)

Hey guys, I've been on this site before for a few times, maybe way back 2017 when i was building my franken-tele (its body is from a Japan made Tele-copy I got from my uncle as a hand-me-down way back 2002, while its neck came from a 1974 Fender Mustang I got as for repair way back in college ). Unfortunately, the Mustang itself was beyond repair and mostly missing its parts so it came to pass that I exchanged its neck to the telecaster, partly, the tele was more than abused itself. Nails were applied to its neck just to rejoin the fretboard. So, I ditched the tele's neck and replaced it with the Mustang's. so it looked like a Tele Deluxe in a manner. it used to play with just a single neck single coil pickup so I ended up adding a Seymour Duncan bridge mini-humbucker. I also did put a Bigsby style vibrato on it. Way back in 2004, I did apply varnish on that thing just to make it look very natural, but ended up getting battered and bruised. So, last 2017 I did my tele as a project. I spray-painted it with matte-black and somewhat relic-ish..(I'll send a Picture soon). I'm planning on replacing its color with tosca green. Anyway, I've been here before but it's just this time that I did register here. Feels great being here.
