This wasn’t as fast and straightforward as I would’ve hoped but the result is nice, I like a lot how it turned out. The look is sharp

Played it for an hour and apart from the nut string height, it plays very well.
The sound is a typical tele, but rounder and fuller. The neck pickup is surprisingly nice, good output level, not too muddy not too trebly.

The weight is exactly 3 kilos (a bit under 7 lbs? I’m not good at legacy units).

Oh by the way. I forgot to take a photo and now it’s too late, not going to disassemble it back.
The neck pickup is made like a Firebird pickup with two bobbins wound around the fat blade magnets like this. I had to open it because the cover was soldered to the base plate askew, so I disassembled it to put it all back square and proper

So far found one high fret (the 15th), not a big deal.

I love the neck pickup, powerful but clear and chimey. They did a nice Firebird pup knock-off I guess. It has no trouble competing with the dual rail at the bridge.

A local guitar shop here in southeastern Massachusetts sourced and built the guitar for me, the humbucker is a bare knuckles product, the middle pick up is a Dimarzio dark matter, bridge is a fender original.

SOME TIME LATER:

This bridge is not great is the least I can say. I actually hate it.

The individual barrel saddles aren't stable at all, they move and rattle. Will be getting a classic 3 barrel instead (with compensated saddles)...

New bridge: so much better. No annoying string rattles at the bridge anymore
