Bimonthly means either 2x per month or once per 2 months.

Biweekly means either 2x per week or once per 2 weeks.

English seems to be ambivalent about the issue

What about semi-weekly or semi-monthly?

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary semiweekly means "happening twice a week."

Interestingly however, on our corporate Employer’s IRS 941 QUARTERLY Federal Tax Return we mark the "semiweekly schedule depositor" box when actually we make employee tax deposits twice a month (paychecks twice a month.)

Actually Luther beat me to it but I didn't notice.

Luther Burger. Sounds like a sandwich with some nectarine in it. Hmm.
No, it's better than that. It's a bacon cheeseburger between two grilled Krispy Kreme doughnut halves.
