    This made a big impression on me. One for the most beautiful songs ever written performed beautifully.

    Note: Gram has a Martin Classical, sort of like Willie Nelson.

    As for the Confederate flag: heritage, not hate. Southern pride is for everyone who wants to join.

    Great song.. I'd heard a few other versions before I eventually heard GP/Emmy Lou version..

    Love Buddy Miller's vocals on this one

    Last year my wife and I stayed at the Gatlinburg Inn in the room where Felice and Boudleaux Bryant wrote many songs, possibly that one too. I played and sang that song in the room in their honor.

    Yessir! I saw them together, what a pairing. I love Emmylou and Buddy is just a tremendous musician in all respects.
