Always thought Graham Parker & The Rumour deserved more appreciation...

I love this and " Heat Treatment "!!!!! I still listen to these two a lot. Brinsley and Martin were so tight! One of the very best live bands I've ever seen!! I saw them 3 times in London, once with the Rumour Horns, unforgettable!!! Brinsley and Martin had a profound influence on the way I play and the guitar tone I go for, that edge of tweed break up....I loved this band, as much as I love the Brinsley's and the Ducks!!! Thanks for posting this! I think I'm going to listen to both of these this afternoon!!!

Graham Parker is great. Plenty of good stuff from him, but he sorta got lost in the shuffle between Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe.

He never got lost in my shuffle! Elvis was the good boy, and Graham was a baddass. Nick...can’t even hold Graham’s guitar!

Even his ballads had a rough edge.
