Dreaming about situations which will not happen, for this coming year at least, only ends badly. Think I need to go read about fountain pens or mechanical watches wher I cannot get into trouble.

My wife actually likes my playing when I'm loud enough to need ear plugs, which I only got recently due to being unable to hear her talking after playing for a bit. This is seven days a week and she still smiles.
She actually prefers cheesy hard rock styles but doesn't seem to mind some mellower stuff.
Is she up to some tricks here?

Fortunately have lived with people that tolerate guitar playing...other stuff not as much...so instead I mix records like this full blast:

unfortunately even a lot of the techno folks are a little allergic to late 90s/early 00s stompers.

Play guitar, game and watch a movie. (My wife is weird and doesn't like most movies.)

Play drums. Then a tele or SG Jr through a loud Princeton Reverb.

You used loud and Princeton Reverb in a sentence.

Sadly, too much to be done around here.

It's been long enough since I stopped playing saxes that I would indeed wait for an empty house to take a crack at that noisy monster.
Same with violin, too long with no practice and I sound truly horrific!

My de facto hobby has become collecting windfall fire wood. Most likely more of the same.

At the moment I have a 300- 450mm tree, down for two years, that I'm bringing home bit by bit.

Probably crank the stereo a little louder, and play the guitars a little louder.

I live alone and I'm retired so I do whatever I want all day every day. I wouldn't want to live any other way.

Some of you have a lot more pervy ideas than I do.

I played a little acoustic through the PA and recorded a couple of songs for some zoom audition thing later this week. Too my harmonica holder apart and taped it to a mic stand like Neil Young. This is a prototype of course. Played my drummers kit that he leaves here.

    At a big sandwich.

Since we were talking Yamahas yesterday, got out the Restar with the P90s and worked on some stuff for the band. Then worked on some stuff for myself that we don't play. the Cult, the Church and Judas Priest (I've never played JP before). Got reacquainted with my flanger pedal (I like it!)

My fingers were hurting at this point so I went to work on my old motorcycle. The project was more involved than I planned so I gave up on it for now. Ws gonna ride the newer motorcycle but the battery needed a charge. So I tidyed up the garage while I drank a beer and watched the NASCAR race. Now just waiting for everyone to get back for dinner. A full day!

Ha! In the band I play in - the Princeton is the "loud" amp. A PR can wail!

The Princeton Reverb is just a "bedroom amp" until the neighbors call the cops on you.
