    My first strat looked like this when I got it,,,, salt air maybe?...

    it still looks like this... I've never messed with the patina..the switch needed a wd40 spray, though,:rolleyes::D

    Even plastic rusts here. The farthest you can get from sea water is 4 miles. Rust never sleeps

    There’s a dive site off the west end caller Truck Lagoon. Several retired vehicles from the refinery were cleaned up and dropped into 40’-50’ water as an artificial reef. As age took them down they became great photo locations. One of my favorites was a late 60s pickup that became bare bones frame, block, & steering
    Sadly they are all gone due to salt water and storms
