Spitfire might be able to help ya.
No. One of them has more knots. The other one with more of a brown burst that has the cracking is pine too but not many visible knots.
No. I took those photos as Mach ups while painting it with nitro. I ended up going darker on the edge. It’s the same knotty pine body.
I’m sure they could, for $200+.
No, it’ll stay as is.
that's a beautiful finish and i've never seen one like it
The one fourth from the bottom is gorgeous. It would look great with a black guard.
Apparently the Classic Vibes have the same specs as the American Vintage series so guards that fit those will fit the Squiers.
Thanks. Fender USA Performer Honeyburst
Or maybe, google "sunburst tele" images...
Pick guard is mint but looks white in this photo.
But seeing as this thread has now hit 8 pages, it seems folks here were cool with the request and were nice enough to show their Teles.
I hear ya there. It's like the time I put a $20.00 zipper in an $18.00 dress.
Love it. The sound too.
All killer, no filler.
This is an early 1990s (94?) Mex Tele that's had the neck pickup and the selector switch pulled out of it and a black Bakelite Esquire pickguard put on in place of the original white. I think it looks cool, but it sounds even better.
I think pickguards are universally just plain ugly. I mean: who ever extolled the beauty of a sheet of plastic over the character and richness of wood? Even painted wood is better than plastic....

Not a Fender (it’s a Fernandes) but there you go.
I dropped it on concrete 3 days after buying it in 1992. Took it back to Matt Uminov's (NYC) and switched the white pickguard to mint green, so with the cracks on the side, it would look aged
its been modded since then, with new neck and new pickup adds.
BWB came in the mail yesterday. Lookin good I think.
I don’t know if there’s different era’s of Fernandes, but the first or original runs of those were absolutely knockout bang for your buck, like ESP.
