    That's pretty damned nasty.

    I wouldn’t want it.

But then again, I don’t get the pinecasters that got so popular a few years ago.

Looks like something we would have made in 7th grade shop class.

First thing that Leo would say ?

”It’s not finger jointed…why isn’t it finger jointed ? That’s not gonna last...”

Second thing he would say - “wait - people will pay that much for the little Deluxe that never had nearly enough headroom ? How many do you think we could sell ? Really...hmmmm...Lupe ! Maria ! You ladies need to work Saturdays until further notice !”

Price seems about right when you consider Fenders 2500%+ markup for hands on labour.
It probably took a minimum wage employee a good few hours to hunt for scrap real wood and knock that cabinet up.

They can charge what they like but I don't see many of these selling.

Pretty good workmanship if all they had was an axe

Not got this but I wind up with a few things of this nature: overpriced at retail and immovable used, but great saving by having some uggy product

All of their alternative material custom cabs I've seen are heinous. The whiskey barrel ones were the best looking and they were still kind of lame. The nautical one was pretty awful too.

So I am just throwing this out there. If you want one like that I will build you one at half the cost....

It cracks me up when companies "claim" about mojo that inhabits the wood. I work with a large restaurant group that came up with a design that introduced "re-claimed lumber" as part of their interior. What they wanted was old board that came out of factories, or old buildings to be used in the design. These boards would have a detail routed into them that said they were "part of a warehouse in Queens" or "part of a bank building in Topeka Kansas" or whatever.

What we found was the cost of this material was so high we would take new material and make the boards look old, and then make something up and route it in the face. It was somewhat comical for us as the brand was telling its customers this wood was from some old dilapidated building that had been torn down when the truth was the material came from the local supply house.

Yeah they should have just said these amps were made for the top selling artists to play the Bowl or something like that. Why would you put it on Sweetwater? No normal customer is going to buy this.

"Only 5 of these amps are being made!" - that's still five too many.
