The best thing about using this combination of adhesives is that it's basically an invisible repair and you can't even tell there was ever anything wrong with the shoe.

Yep, use shoe goo! It's amazing. I repaired a shoe and my riding mower seat with some I've had like 12 years!

Shoe Goo and E6000 are very similar; both are exceptional adhesives that stick to anything and remain flexible.

Shoe Goo is great for many other things besides shoes.

I suppose I could have spent some money on the right adhesive, but why do that when I have two of the wrong adhesive laying around?

I didn't realize mustard counted as an adhesive.

I use Peegoo to keep my stuff together. Once you get past the name, it’s all right.

[IMG]When this stuff fails, it isn't the adhesive itself. What's happening is one or both of the materials you're bonding, are disintegrating. The glue may rehab some of the blown rubber for a while, but eventually some other component (layer) of the shoe breaks down and you're back where you started.

Ahh, an engineer at heart. Shoe Goo is less expensive than those ruined running shoes. Just sayin';)
