EGG ON MY FACE! I CONFUSED TOM WHITLOCK, WHO I NEVER KNEW, WITH TOM WITTROCK, WHO OWNS THIRD EYE MUSIC.
I knew Tom Whitlock from visiting his dusty music shop in Springfield, Missouri, where he had a bunch of old archtops, lap steels, amps, and other stuff. He was invariably unhurried and friendly. I had the impression that he did most of his selling at guitar shows or online.
