Hey all,

I have a super reverb clone that I listed locally for sale as I’m not really using it. It was built for me a few years ago and I’m more into modellers and such at the moment. A guy offered to trade me a 1982 Deluxe Reverb II and I’m wondering if I should consider the trade as I’ve kinda wanted a deluxe in my arsenal for a while.

I did not pay a ton for my amp build as I traded another amp at the time to help with the cost, and I could be totally out to lunch with my asking price too…

Let me know what you guys think about the deal and what you’d do

Thanks in advance

Sounds like a good deal if you're going to use it. I don't really know what those Rivera era Deluxes are going for or what you put into your Super, but if it's in good condition, go for it.

I contacted him and let him know I’d likely be open to a trade. I’ll update if I get to see/hear the Deluxe in person

I’d trade only IF there is no possibility you may want/need the Super clone later.
Both are great amps.
I gig, so I’d rather have the Super.
Deluxes get washed away by bass amps, or any other louder player.
I like to be able to do battle.
Perhaps this doesn’t apply to you.
If not, trade away.
