    We take 3 passes at each song we video which gives us 3 audio samples to choose from and to change the video teams shots. We typically do one pass with wide shots, one with close and maybe the third a mixture of things that weren't covered in previous takes that we have more to choose from.

    We can do the same with audio only not nearly as much. If someone preferred a pass at a solo in one of the takes we use that one, same with vocals. Some post EQ done but with 3 takes we get almost all we need for audio.

    That sounds like a really straight forward but incredibly effective way of getting what you need.

    It shows how tight you are as a band to be able to do that. Hopefully I'll be able to copy your method in the future. Thanks for the idea!
