I have bought cheap ones, expensive ones, Ap*le ones, it seems like I replace them all the time, anyone have any brand suggestions?

Anker brand on Amazon, they are fairly affordable and built better than most.

Try monoprice.com. I've bought power, USB, network, and some audio cables there.

Another +1 for Anker. I don't have an iWhatchamajigger, but I buy a lot of their cables and they've been really solid. Their power bricks and bluetooth speakers are, too.

I’ve had the best experience with the Anker brand as well. They last many times longer than the originals

I am an outlier. My wife and family seem to go through them like crazy but my original charging cord that came with my phone is fine, just like the one that came with my last iPhone. So about 4 years per cord? So I don’t know the best replacement options?

I still have great guitar patch cords I bought about 100 years ago too, and the only “failures” in any cord that wasn’t a $1.00 cheapo were the ones I lent to friends or left on stage for guys.
