Cowtown is one of the best shops in the nation. It has been said here that it is owned by a man that plays in Seger's band.

BTW, I can't remember everything that has been said about the various shops there, but there are other threads in the archives that will help you.

+1 on Cowtown.

It's located on Maryland, close to the hospital if I remember correctly.

The guy from Seger's band doesn't own the shop, but is one of the main guys there. The last time I was there he was showing me an amp similar to the Randall amps where you can swap out the guts to make it something else. Something like you have a Marshall "card", a Twin "card", a Mesa "card" and just pop them in and out. Pretty neat, but darned if I can remember what it's called.

Anyway, back on topic: Cowtown is awesome. You can check out their website and see what they have in stock.

Cowtown is worth a look. They had some cool vintage stuff and everyone was real freindly.ED ROMAN'S was at it's old location when i was there. They had alot of guitars seperated into rooms.I've seen alot of people bad mouthin' ed but he was sweet as pecan pie to me and my wife.If your going to be in town on a thurs night checkout boulder station they have great national blues acts there.Check thier website for the coming shows.

+ 1 on both Cowtown and Ed Roman. There are also a few GC's around too where you can actually find some decent stuff occassionally. ;) Send me a PM if you have any questions since I'm local.

Warm regards,
Rob
