    Hey, all.

So with my '73 Bandmaster Reverb having fritzed out, can anyone confidently recommend a skilled and thorough tech within this radius? I could go as far south as Charlotte, NC; as far north(east) as Richmond, VA; and as far west as (what the hell, right?) Nashville. Want it done right as this amp is glorious fun.

    Thanks!

I guess North of Washington DC ( Damascus, MD) is too far?

It's a hike- but we here in DC area ( I'm in NoVa) have an amazing amp tech that knows Fenders like nobody's business
He is THAT good and reasonable
    Hell of a guy, personable!

If you could go as far as Asheville, NC, I strongly recommend getting in touch with John Schuske at The Amp Shop. John is a no-nonsense, old-school amp technician/expert of the highest order. His work is top notch. I have had him convert a PRRI from PCB to hand-wired (sublime amp), and went back to him to have him build me a 5e3 Tweed Deluxe. He's a little rough around the edges, but if you want your amp worked on by one of the best, give him a call.

I don’t know if he does repairs or not, but you could reach out to Mike at Modern Sound Amps. He’s based in Charlotte. He does immaculate work as a builder.

Another vote for John at the Amp Shop, or if Charlotte is easier for you, the guys at Alpha Sound and Light are great.
