In my never ending quest to thin my herd, I took an old bajo and an Ibanez archtop over the the used shop and traded them for a Gold Tone Banjitar-even trade, fine by me. I had never seen one of them before. But the quality is very good, sounds close enough to a banjo for my couch and has those familiar 6 strings that I'm used to.

Anyone else have one of these? If so, what strings have you used for it. I know Mastertone makes their own set of string specifically for it but mine appears to have straight up electric strings with ball ends and it still sounds good.
