Are you on stage with the same clothes you go to lunch in? Are you the kind of guy that dresses up a little,? Or a lot? Flamboyant?

Is wearing shorts on stage blasphemy, or could you care less if your chicken legs are showing? Sunglasses inside?

For me: Slim Jeans (not too tight, but not baggy at all), a plain t-shirt (usually black), and my converse (black). If it's not hot out I'll wear my black leather jacket, or my denim jacket. Sometimes ill wear a button up, and boots. NEVER shorts, not even in my regular, non-gig days, even in the middle of Summer.

I think shorts on stage is completely unprofessional, no matter what the occasion or venue. I also believe the band should be on the same page style wise. Just my opinion but if I go to a show I'd like to see the band put a little effort into their appearance than looking like they're going to the mall, ballgame or just got off their recliner.

Personally, I wear slim, semi skinny jeans as well and fashion t-shirts or button ups and occasional vest. Shoes are multi-color Vans, black leather Converse or boots. Accessories are hats (stingy/upturn brim trilbys and pork pies), leather bracelets and an occasional necklace .

No shorts. Possibly a vest. Maybe a suit. Funky shirts and jewelry. Nothing to weird but nothing like ball caps and flip flops, either. I hate it when the entertainment is the worst dressed in the room.
Semi flamboyant. Bouyant? Yeah, semi floatable flame retardant.

I usually wear casual pants or like dickies in grey or tan, sometimes a t-shirt (no monograms) but mostly button ups (something stylish) and always a canvas shoe. They are all comfortable things that I can move in but I can dress up a bit if needed. I wear a hat sometimes and if it's winter a thin sports (only with a tshirt).

Shirt Colors depend on my chosen guitars for the gig (I always bring 2, and play them both).

I wear a sport coats, sunglasses, hats, and any thing else I find that make me look the part on stage. I have found most of my cool attire at thrift stores to be honest.

I don't gig...but if I did it would be a comfortable cotton knit, shallow V neck shirt and good fitting jeans...all freshly laundered and pressed...

Oh...and the black silk top hat and cape...

Do you prefer silk scarves tied to your microphone stand or a poly/cotton blend?

There's a pic floating around of me playing an outdoor festival wearing cargo shorts. I hate seeing it. It was actually taken during the sound check like 5 hours before the actual gig. I went home and changed before we played but I've never seen a pic from that night which sucks because it was one of our bigger gigs. For real though. The ONE friggin time I wore cargo shorts while playing and 10 years later I'm still seeing that pic pop up all the time.

no hawaiian shirts, no berets, no cargo pants

    ok well sometimes cargo pants

The most important thing though is the hair

Unless you're wearing a hat, of course

The main thing is make sure you're dressed cooler than everyone else, which depending on the context, might mean one of those tuxedo t shirts except done up like a western dress shirt

Whatever is coolest and doesn't show or highlight my moobs. When I did a lot of gigging I wore a scrub shirt that my brother gave me when he was going through medical school. Super light and comfortable. It disintegrated back to nature many moons ago though.

Rest of the band.....I don't care. None of my business.
