You have almost as much go-to than I have all gear, haha. I’m getting rid of everything I don’t use.

    go-to guitars:
    -11 MIM tele
    -66 guild ce-100
    -02 335

I had an 00 MIM j-bass I just got rid of that I loved, but couldn't keep. Will probably replace with a mustang...not sure whether vintera or the PJ.

    go-to amps:
-5e3/6g2 hybrid I built (going to swap the transformers so I can run 6L6s pro style too). in cathode bias for me it's the amp to end all amps. i had a 1x12 with an emi legend 1258 but i'm probably going to get a 2x10 to replace in the future.
    -Strymon iridium

    special case (loud mean stuff):
    -00 sg special
-66 bassman w/ piggyback cab (i will probably just cash out as the prices are getting stupid and use the iridium with PA or a cheap massive power amp)

Most of my gear is my go-to gear because I don’t have any other gear to go to. :D

    Electric Guitars:
    —‘65 Danelectro
    —Logan T style
    —IYV Mustang w/custom Bootstrap pickups
    —FrankenBari Strat/Danelectro/Bootstrap baritone guitar

    Acoustic Guitars:
—Godin 5th Ave acoustic (optional monkey-on-a-stick pickup)
    —Takamine F400S 12 string dread

    Amps:
—Fender Princeton Reverb II (lightly modified)
—Orange Micro Terror (mostly used when I have to play through headphones)

I’d post an impressive pic a la @Ironwolf but my music room isn’t big enough to have it all out at once.

    These are my go-to instruments.
The black Cabronita partscaster is my current #1 gigging guitar.
The Chet is my best sounding electric guitar, ever.
The avatar guitar is oldest in my possession, and most used, ever.
The Epi Texan is my vocal accompaniment guitar.
The P bass, is my “rock” bass.
The PRS Kestrel bass is my lounge/country bass.
The Roland Cube 80 is my best amp, ever.
The EJ Strat with Kinmans is my best Strat, ever.
The Yamaha NTX700 nylon string a has a comfortable 1 3/4 inch nut width, and plays like a dream.
The James Goodall RCJC is the nicest acoustic I’ve ever owned.
The Washburn HB35 is a cool spin on a ES335.
The sunburst 04 Gibson LP Custom 1968 reissue is my new “pet”.
    I’m a lucky guy.

For the last couple of years, my go-to gigging rig for electric guitar has been my Logan Custom Firecaster II and one of my VOX Pathfinder 15Rs.

Firecaster II & Vox Pathfinder 15R.jpg

But I have five Logan Custom tele styles and one Logan Custom Challenger (the orange haze number hanging on the wall on the right). And over the course of 13 years I've gigged with each one of them. The Firecaster II is the current go-to in large part because it is the newest tele. And even then I do still mix it up from time to time.

Also, hanging on the wall on the left in that pic above is my Logan Custom acoustic/electric tele style. That guitar and one of my Fishman Loudbox Mini amps are my go-to gigging rig for acoustic/electric tones.

Wait. Hold on there. I was expecting your Epi Dot Studio straight into your Fender amp.:(

    My list is much shorter:

    Tele
    Epiphone Casino
    Line 6 Flextone III

I have a bunch of guitars, but the Tele is usually my goto.

Now if we broaden it a bit to stuff I'll likely use in the studio, add:

    Epiphone EB0
    Line 6 Variax Electric
    Line 6 Variax Acoustic
    Burns Red Special
    Fuzz Pedal
    Line 6 Pod XT

I won't get into the piano and drums in the studio unless y'all really want me to.

Does "got to" mean: "an excuse to show pictures of all the gear I own?"
I will start taking some photos....

'97 Gibson Advanced Jumbo acoustic . . . all else is negotiable . . . but usually a Tele is involved somewhere along the line

I must not understand the concept of "Go to" gear.
I was going to say just my '52 AVRI tele and my Marshall dsl20. That's all I actually NEED. Well that and a cord, strap, and pick.

My workhorse is my A.O 60’s plugged into a fuzz pedal of some sort into a tone master twin

Or just any guitar I grab into a vibro champ reverb

I go on kicks, usually Les Paul/Marshall amps or Stratocaster and Telecaster/Fender Amps. It really depends upon the songs that I’m working on at the time or sometimes it’s my latest acquisitions.

Currently it’s my Les Paul’s and Marshall amps getting most of my attention.

I have a Home Brew Tele made from Poplar with a MIM neck and a two '73 Silverfaced Champs.
One is plain, the other has Vibrato.

No, it means the gear I keep out and able to pick up and use at any time. That's less than a third of my guitars and a fifth of my amps.
