    Uh, no.
Sometimes it appears that I’m not listening/hearing;),but I continue to breath.
    Thanks for asking.

Always keep breathing OK - it’s the right notes that are the problem!

you guys seem to think I'm kidding, I'm not. I've been doing it for years and just thought I'd ask and see if that helped. Obviously it's not going to

What if the solo is longer than two minutes?

I have to force myself to try to relax and breathe when I'm playing solos. Probably why I feel like my solos are stiff and sloppy. The struggle is real.

It something I used to do...in my case, it was lack of confidence.

I remedied it by firing the guys in the band that made me feel that way. My playing and singing improved.

Can’t say I do hold my breath but I sometimes find myself looking at the neck more than I normally do if I’m improvising over playing a ride I’m used to

I totally used to do that. Not through the whole solo but in parts. Haven't payed much attention lately. I haven't had much occasion to solo at all.

The best way to resolve this issue, is to write something (or find a song) where the guitar leads co-incide with the vocal. Sing and play the lead, I promise you will not forget to breathe.

When I concentrate I tend to bite my tongue. I remember reading this did something significant to your brain function.

I think I breathe heavier. I think we all get excited and we react differently. I can totally appreciate holding your breath.
