I gave a friend of mine a small Larrivée guitar which has to be strung with light or extra light strings. I'd like to put a label inside to remind people (particularly the person who put on heavies) what the guitar calls for. I'd like suggestions on paper, ink and glue so the message can be seen in the soundhole. Thanks in advance, because I'm sure I'll get a good answer.

I use wood glue diluted with water. Curious what others say.

I put sticky backed paper labels in mine with ownership and contact details and regretted it as they are hard to remove without solvent/scraping. Some of my semis are vintage.

White PVA, possibly slightly diluted, would be my choice today with stained tissue paper to match the wood.
