Give some props to someone on the tdpri!
Too many to list, too many to list. But let me recognise two TDPRI OGs who over these last ten years encouraged me to finally learn some theory, and helped turn my directionless noodling into something more akin to music: @Larry F and @klasaine. Life-changing stuff, gentlemen. You mightn't have been talking to me, but I heard you all the same. THANK YOU.

I’ve enjoyed the work of many of you. Thanks for that.

Special shout-out to @moosie though, who has helped me out of at least a couple of wiring jams. Cheers!

My list would be a long one...I've known more than a few of you for 20 years or so here and at other Web locations, and I've had the pleasure of playing jams with a couple of the members here. This is a pretty cool place to hang out.

Man o man there are so many to mention.

@Toto'sDad as he always is good for a story or two.

@Jakedog as I like to live vicariously through him

@Blazer and not just for the airplane porn although I love it, but for his openness and honesty about life

@Peegoo as he seems to be like me and knows a little bit about everything.

@drmordo who not only has a cool avatar but an even cooler take most of the time.

@FenderGyrl even though she doesn't post as much I loved her builds

@guitarbuilder as I loved building guitars

@crazydave911 as I love guitar building

@Buckocaster51 as I love guitar building and SPARKLES!!

There are probably a ton of people that I have forgot but these are off the top of my head. Great forum, even greater people and a huge time waster!! I should be practicing!

+10!

I've always enjoyed LarryF's perspectives, and klasaine has always been super helpful with theory and other musical musings.

But like others have said, hats off to the entire community for keeping a perfect balance of entertainment, knowledge sharing, and good humor!

Cheers,
Doug

My name was mentioned a couple of times and I appreciate that, but what I am really doing is passing along the knowledge that was given to me by so many wonderful people. The lutherie community is quite amazing - people freely share what would be highly guarded secrets in any other situation. I have literally sat at the feet of some of the finest builders in the world while they share what makes their guitars special, the least I can do is pass along the little bit I glean from them.
