When I read the thread title, one of the first ones that came to mind was Physical Graffiti. In your opinion, what's an album (albums?) where nary a skip is needed?
My nominations-- two by one band (and back to back!) and the other a double-album:
Physicial Graffiti, Led Zeppelin
Highway to Hell, AC/DC
Back In Black, AC/DC
What you got??
2000s? A few. 2010s and beyond? Not fair, albums aren't the consumed format past 2018 at the latest.I wonder if there have been any since 2000? Or 2010?
White Stripes deliberately put at least one song that annoys me in every album. Except Get Behind Me Satan. Nearly that whole album annoyed me. Basically, I skip all the way to "ain't that lonely yet" and call it done. But self titled, De still, WBC, even Elephant were almost perfect. Then???????. Then Icky thump was 70-80% great. I can't speak to the singles/EPs, I think I only have Walkimg with a ghost.![]()

Came here to say these same four albums. All amazing.Pink Floyd - The Wall, Animals, DSOTM, Wish You Were Here
Forgot about Car Wheels on a Gravel Road. That’s a good 1. New Trombone by Curtis Fuller is another. Most listed already. A few I played a lot, but I haven’t listened to an album for years. It would be a stretch to say some of these didn’t have some filler:
Live at the Apollo ‘63
Songs From A Room
Car Wheels
Zeppelin 4
Give Me Convenience
Nuts to You
He’s a Friend
Waiting for the Sun
And Justice For All
Blonde on Blonde
Crying Time
