Blackwater Surprise, by Robert Bradley's Blackwater Surprise. If you'd like to hear what it might sound like to have Ray Charles fronting The Black Crowes, this may be your thing. They are fantastic on this record. Every song is killer.

Similarly, The Bomb Shelter Sessions, by Vintage Trouble. Like Otis Redding fronting a power trio like a modern version of Led Zeppelin. Here's them playing a cut from the record live. Amazing band.
