I have been on a country kick lately, and I can’t stop listening to Rosanne Cash! Especially this number! Who doesn’t like Rosanne!!!

And, the late, great Keith Whitley!! What a talent that left us a limited, but stellar body of work!

And finally, a Merle song that I have been trying to learn!

Jets At Dawn- Be Bop Deluxe. Melodic, imagery, perfect little lead fills and a nice jam at the end.

Walk In The Woods- Peter Case. Old song on my playlist, popped up the other day. Now I can’t get it out of my head. Banged it out on the acoustic. Kinda spooky, great harmonica, nice twist at the end.

Anything by Richard Thompson. Poppy Red, Wall Of Death, Beeswing, Vincent Black Lightning. Take yer pick.
That Peter Case album is one of my desert island discs...

Brandi Carlile: "The Joke"

Queen: "Show Must Go On"

Robert Johnson: "Come On In My Kitchen"
Come on in my Kitchen is the song for me, though it wouldn't have occurred to me to list it here. It's like being invited to drink a coffee with God.

I'll list three random songs as they occur to me here:

The Truth will always be - Pat Metheny

Mack the Knife - Ella Fitzgerald's live performance from Berlin

Barbed Wire Blues - Wilko Johnson
