Because I have been on a Joe Henry thing lately

Ive posted it here many times before. It has an awesome Ornette Coleman solo.

A seasonally appropriate one from my favourite songwriter

And one by Ronnie Lane fronting the Faces

Cheers,
Geoff

Jethro Tull - Reasons For Waiting
Tom Petty - Won't Back Down
Merle Haggard - Ramblin' Fever

Off the top of my head, but it changes from day to day. These tunes are timeless favs for me.

Well..."three" are nearly impossible, but...they all hail from roughly the same time period, when I was in my early/mid-20's, and I'll give the albums they are on as well, because the albums are great...not just the three songs. In no particular order: 1. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' "Refugee" from Damn The Torpedoes; Even The Losers comes in a close second; 2. Bruce Springsteen's "Streets of Fire" from Darkness On The Edge of Town; "Adam Raised a Cain" is a close second; 3. Clash - "London Calling" from the same title album.
