My guitars are partcasters or mid-price guitars that I've upgraded. None of them are worth more than 7 or 8 hundred euro.

They all get gigged, but mainly I use one of the Telecasters, my Tokai 335 or my Epiphone Les Paul.

I usually gig with my old Tele. It is vintage but has been modified and is rough so it is not collectable. I also have a nice G&L Legacy that I gig with from time to time. My 335 stays in the closet unless I am recording with it.

My main guitars are a Heritage H535 and a Ric 360. Unless I'm concerned about loading out at 3 am in a bad part of town that's what I play. I have a Dot Studio and a Squier 51 that I gig with if I have concerns. Fortunately, we're not playing too many of those gigs any longer.

My current two main axes are a Squier Classic Vibe Tele, and a '94 Mexican Strat I picked up in '96 for $125.

A Suhr Pro Series III. Hands down the most versatile guitar I've ever owned. Excellent build quality and wide range of sounds. I also carry along my Thinline Tele with my own modified WRHB pickups in it. Between the two guitars I can cover anything we play.

Well it's been a few years now..

But my workhorse for many years was my '73 SG standard (unmodified).
More recently, it was my '98 American Std. hardtail Strat, with hot noiseless pups. Mmmmm!
    Still my favorite guitar

They have proven themselves to be dependable workhorses.

I gig a Korean Epi and bring a Mexican Strat for a spare.
    Leave the good stuff home.
I'm in a bit of a dry spell (new project pending), but as soon as I get rolling again, I figure I'll need a CV Tele.
Hate to gig without a tele.
My '69 is a bitsa, but I still get nervous hauling it out to bars.

I had been playing the black tele for the last couple years, but just finished this sunburst mahogany t3 (i call it) for myself, I'm liking it a lot. It covers a wide range. Behind me is a Goodsell Super 17 (LE).

Last straight guitar gig,I brought my '99 Nashville B-bender,'96 50th Anniversary Tele,'07 AVRI Jazzmaster(all gifts from Mrs.H.I LOVE that woman),and played thru my '07 Bassman LTD.
Most of my gigs have been PSG,and I use an '06 Mullen Royal Precision U-12,but I do bring along the B-bender and play it on about half a dozen tunes.

    My gig rig......

I don't play rowdy bars or night clubs anymore, and the places that I do play -churches, christian music festivals, private parties, weddings, and so forth- are decidedly lacking in alcohol-induced violence or othr wierdness.

I use either a 2004 MIM Telecaster or 2003 G&L Legacy, depending on the song I am playing.

I use a Danelectro "Cool Cat" Chorus, Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator, and 80s vintage Ibanez Tube Screamer. I don't use the Tube Screamer much anymore, and have drifted away from "overdrive" tones to clean ones in my old middle age.

I play through a solid state Fender amp, most of the time.

    I use a Kustom P.A. system and SM 57 and 58 microphones.

When I play at churches, I often just play with whoever they've got from their praise / worhsip team who is willing to play with me. Sometimes I bring a bass player and drummer with me, particularly at weddings or other private parties.

The most valuable instrument I've got is my Deering 5 string banjo. I'll do a few tunes on it from time to time.

    CV Tele (unmodded)
    2004 MIA Tele w/NoCasters
    2006 MIA 8502 Tele (unmodded)
    2004 Epi LP Gold Top w/SD JB/Jazz p-ups
2000 Fender Blues Jr. (USA unmodded)
    ???? Fender Stage 112se (unmodded)

I seldom do any mods to my gear. I've owned a lot of high end stuff thru the years, but it's all gone now. Most of it I was afraid to take out and gig, so why bother? My 2 MIA Teles are the most expensive guitars I own now, and I got both of them for about 1K each on sale afew years back.
