Got a gigbag with a jumbo paperclip filling in for the zipper handle that disappeared to the island of lost socks and such...

I've had worse things stuck in a zipper.....

sometimes wd 40 etc will allow you to free up a zipper...

Funny, some of those zippers get really corroded & all others work perfectly.

I'd try spraying it before the razor. A bags pretty handy to have around. You can always throw the crappy zipper ones in w a guitar sale.

You can get into just about any zipper with a ballpoint pen. Plunge the tip in between the teeth to separate them and use the body of the pen to split the rest of the zipper open. You can put it all back together by running the zipper pull(s) across the length of the zipper and nobody will ever know you were in there.

Think about that next time you check zippered luggage.

Those cases SUCK. I've got a cpl of em that came with guits I'd bought. They are both POSs, I think both of them have jammed zippers and one lost the zipper pull like yours

    Never understood gig bags.

It's like taking your lunch to a job site, in a paper bag.

OMG what part of a zipper is actually THE zipper? I was like, “how can it be fully zipped if the zipper is missing” and then

After your tuna and sardine sammy in a paper bag, sits out in the sun all morning, and you can't tell the side with cheese from the side with mayo, you might rethink your strategy.:)

Yeah, @Alamo, that’s what I was thinking as well.

I’ve got a Profile gig bag I picked up free or cheapish some years ago. It was included with my Squier Custom II. I don’t have the Squier anymore, but I still have the bag. Very well made, lots of pockets for gear and stuff. Sturdy zippers. I used to have a Fender gig bag. No comparison.
