Henry thinks lifestyle electronics is the way to go and is completely devoting his zero budget for the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. Guitars will be on display there. I think Heritage should buy the Gibson brand and bring it back to Kalamazoo. That fact alone will boost sales. Let Henry keep Epiphone. They should be separated anyway. Then, the new old Gibson can license the headstock and logo back to Gibson for free in return for cross marketing. Win win.

I went to some Summer NAMM shows years ago and Gibson wasn't there, and they are based out of Nashville!
    No great loss IMO.

I also remember Gibson not being at a few Summer NAMMs in Nashville - seems at least one of those years they set up their own display at a different hotel/conference space in Nashville to "compete" with the show.

Hey Ringo, off topic, did u once own a reverse Hallmark Sweptwing electric guitar?
If so, I’m on it now. The name Ringo is written in the back of the headstock by the builder

What do they have to bring to the trade show that is actually new? Maybe they stayed home and saved a little money because everyone has already seen a l.p. in every color/robot form imaginable. I think they are missing out on a big piece of the market trying to keep themselves elite. If they made something decent in the MIM Fender price range they might pull themselves out of debt.

Summer NAMM is in Nashville, a local trip.

Winter NAMM is in Anaheim, requiring an interstate 18 wheeler and airline tickets.
