- a Gibson Les Paul with Humbuckers
- a Fender Telecaster with Single Coils

What guitar model would be the third Guitar?

Which Model would be the logical third one, that would be different enough to both of these?

A PRS?
A Strat?
An SG with P90?

Would love to hear your opinion.

Tossup between an LP Special or SG Special with P-90s or a Strat. Flip a coin. No PRS though

Or maybe a Gretsch 5420 (big hollow body with Filtertrons).
Or maybe a Rik 12-string

I'd choose either a P90-equipped Les Paul, PRS or Casino. The PRS might sound interesting with the 25" scale compared to the other two.

I actually own 3 Les Paul’s, 2 Stratocaster’s, and a Telecaster.

I’d have to vote Strat. That sound is everywhere, plus you’d have have a whammy to play with!

If no Strat then I’d get a P90 guitar.

A lot depends on what you like to play.

For me, I have a tele as my "normal" guitar, then everything else has some quirks. Get a Danelectro Baritone with a sparkle finish

I have a Gibson Les Paul, and a Limited edition Singlecut 594.

I’d have to sub the 594 as the better Les Paul, keep my American Tele and throw in a Suhr HSS, solid Cocobolo Neck thru & Fingerboard, Koa body and top. Thornbucker in the bridge, MLs in the Middle and Neck. - the ultimate Superstrat.

A tele or LP with P90s would be my pick. I have all three, and an ES335.

Well I went with a Line 6 JVT-69s. It's a modeling strat. So it's got the 335, Casino, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, SG, and several models are P90 too. I will say I play it as a regular strat most.

My three choices would be;
1.Telecaster/Nocaster/Broadcaster
2. Esquire.
3. Telecaster Thinline
All should be early production models or Custom Shop or Reissues
