Thought I would start this thread to see if there were many of us J-185 players out there. I don't really see all that many around and wasn't sure???

I've had mine going on 5 years now and still find myself awe struck at what a great all around acoustic this Gibson model is. I suppose it was the shorter scaled 24.75" that I was wanting to try out mostly for lead work and string bends, but everything about this guitar is pure comfort with tone for days. It has the typical bottom end boom and punch from a jumbo, but it has that sweet articulate mid range and top end for some of that way up the neck stuff....Probably mostly due to the maple back and sides

    Anyone else using one???

That is a beauty. Gibson rules the burst. :)
