Hello there. Been a while.
GFS has a bottom-of-the-line bodies and necks page called GF Basics. I was going nuts trying to find a non-rich-people's neck with a 43mm nut, and here it was.
I wanna tell you, this thing isn't junk at all. They obviously took it straight off the machine and put it into the box but it's a real nice stone naked piece of wood with the frets needing nothing more than a touchup. The fretboard edges are a little square-ish and if you like that, groovy, and it you don't you've got sandpaper. The fret ends aren't bitey AT ALL. There's a tiny beauty mark of dark wood on the fretboard but so what.
And of course, as I write this, it's out of stock, and things often are there.
But it ain't junk and I give it two thumbs up.

I used a GFS low-end body for a telecaster build, and it worked out perfectly. I know there are some who have had different experiences, but mine was great.
