Howdy. I bought an Xotic X-W1 several months ago and am really loving the sound of it. HOWEVER, I can’t seem to figure out the pressure you need to properly engage and disengage it. The button beneath the pedal out of the box was very, very firm, so I really have to stomp it hard to make it turn on and off. Is that normal? I’m still fairly new to using a wah and am surprised by how much force it needs. Is this in any way adjustable? By having to stomp so hard I’m a little more clumsy than I would like when using it. Thanks for any advice.

It probably has rubber bumpers / stoppers like the Crybaby wahs, that the treadle hits, sometimes those can be cut down a bit to adjust how much pressure it takes to engage the switch, also the switch can usually be adjusted up or down a bit, but I find the rubber bumpers are the culprit most of the time.

Yep, it has those. I am going to try adjusting the switch and see how it goes. Thanks.
