I'm still looking for a replacement for my dear, departed Daisy. She was the sweetest dog possible.....a Beagle/Dachshund mix, often referred to as a "Golden Beagle" for their usual golden tan coats. She was the perfect size for me.(25-30 lbs) Nearly every dog in shelters now is either a little Chihuahua "yapper", or a big Pit Bull mix. I keep checking the several shelters around here.....I'll find one eventually. Best wishes for you and yours.
