An offshoot of inquiring about these Amazon low cost wireless units...
These came in today...work great.

Amazon product ASIN B07YTBJF5P
As a background, I've been playing for 50+ years and church praise teams for over 30 years now and 20 years of gigging before that. I used to use the old Nady systems at times...but like the name..they were kinda "Nasty". I actually used a cord most of the time and never wanted to spend the $500+ for church, since I'm not moving around much, like I did on bar gigs. I just used a 25 cable and that was to a pedal out front too.

I'm sure if you quickly A/B to a cable, you'll hear a difference...but it was ok to me... no hiss, no bad latency, no drop outs, no "tone sucking" and worked easily 50 ft away in my house and thru walls.

BTW, I paid $54 with free shipping which is a bit more than the 2.4GHz version...but figured the 5.8GHz was a better choice with church wifi running IEM, mics and all that.

I went with the cheapest A8 models. They seem to do fine as well. Latency not a problem. I won't say they are duller, but the highs seem to suffer regardless of the distance away from the amp & receiver part. The highs are still present enough that it's more like a slight EQ for lower Treble that's a tone shape for the guitar, pedal & amp's EQ knobs. The battery life between charges on them are a few hours, but that varies sometimes if not hat the battery degrades. Been using them since 2019 but for $ 20, it's like being unplugged for freedom of moving around. I have no reservations for recommending them.

yeah....I mean if you can get reliable bluetooth ear buds for low cost. Makes me wonder why someone doesn't fill the slot with using the same technology but making them a little sturdier. IDK...I use a more expensive IEM monitor pack at church and it's about the same...as far a probably being no more robust. I guess it's all about low cost and compared to $800+ units with rack mount antenaes and such.. these are low cost.

Consider yourself lucky. I tried a couple, quickly returned both -- the noise floor made them unusable for me. Yet my friend's set was fine... I wasn't ready to tempt fate a third time.
