My band has been doing Bobbi Jo Spears' "Get Behind Me Satan And Push" for a while and I was STILL having trouble playing a guitar solo I liked. In numerals my solo was: V V V I I

Starting on the V in that particular tune was psyching me out for some reason. Going through some of my old notes and charts I saw that Hank's "Cold Cold Heart" would fit over those changes like a glove!
The Cold Cold Heart intro is 4 bars, but it was a breeze to do a little razzle dazzle over the I for a bar.

Anyway, thought I'd share the Cold Cold Heart Intro (transposed to C Major) in case anyone else has been working on a V V V I I solo that's been tough!

"Cold, Cold Heart" my favourite Hank Williams song.

I like the Norah Jones cover.

    Love Norah.

Jimmy Capps does a nice instrumental version on Larry's Country Diner. Charlie McCoy is featured too.
