The neck runs thru and over the soundboard, presses down on a ebony 'bridge'.
Builder claims best intonation ever, as well.

    .

It will transfer some sound, just like hanging a solid body guitar from a wall hook will make the wall board behind it amplify the sound some. Does it get as loud as a regular acoustic?

Functionally similar to a semi-hollow that has 'a neck' through to the bridge.

This will be the main problem:
Just enough players will embrace it to make the builder think he's got a potential market success, but then get hammered like 2015-Gibson or 1984-New Coke....

Interesting. I hadn't seen one of these before; very high-tech.

Kind of reminds me of the archtops Ken Parker is doing these days - since selling off the Fly models years ago he's been doing a very limited number of archtops per year.

AAAAGH - to be the New Coke, when you wanted to be the New Steinberger or the New Ken Parker.
If it won't work w/ a Bigsby, how about a Floyd???
    o_O

    I'll get my coat. . .
    Peace - Deeve

Very interesting....can you post more detailed pics? Apparently six in-line tuners? Won't that disorient jazz players?
Added....second video shows three and three tuners.....whew!!!!

I've seen these before from a thread on this site maybe a year ago.

If you think about it, it's really like the Dulcimers with a one piece neck glued on top of a sound box. It definitely looks better and sounds great.
