Nice little jam
Maybe not such a great song but I remember When as a Young kid bought Cloud 9
Haha I realise There are a lot of Stratocasters here. And from what I have read in various interviews the Stratocaster was always his favourite guitar. But since this is a teleboard I found this Nice little video. Behind George is his close friend Dennie Laine ( Who was in the Wings).
Very unique player with loads of eastern influences in his music just quietly 'there'.
His slide playing is so dang accurate...
The chord progression in Give Me Love blows me away every time.
I've always felt that Harrisons' solo work was the best of the four of them.
Filmed March 2013 so turning 68.
One of ,if not, the most under-rated guitarists, of his generation.
thanks for posting this
I saw Clapton with a Wooden Tele from around this time too. Did he test play the tele as well ?
If it's George on "Day After Day", that first slide always seems to me like it goes a little sharp ?
That Metallica guy does not sound good on slide
Really miss George. Beware Of Darkness is a favorite and always gets me in the gut. Love this acoustic version:
If this was not 20 000 I bet it would be in your collection
Used as early as the Help album
Every song there is a killer. My favourite is : Isn’t it a pity
